Join us at Diversity Richmond for an exciting and empowering social networking event- Connect & Create, designed exclusively for aspiring creators in Richmond, Virginia with a spotlight on queer black history.

This event aims to bring together individuals from the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized groups to foster connections, provide mentorship opportunities, and celebrate diversity within the creative industry. The event will feature subject matter experts and mentors who will share their experiences, expertise, and insights with attendees. These experts will lead an interactive Q&A session on various topics (modeling, photography, filmmaking, writing and DJing) providing valuable guidance and inspiration to aspiring creators. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, ask questions, and learn from professionals who have excelled in their respective fields.

Following the panel discussion, at 6:30PM we will be showcasing Black Rainbow Love- Documentary by Angela Harvey. During this time we will also serve African American cuisine. To end the night, we encourage mixing, mingling, and dancing to our live band!

This event will include free food and entry, with a cash bar. We look forward to connecting and creating magic with you all.
