Michael Donovan Williams, known as Mikemetic, is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist with a rich musical journey spanning over two decades. Based in Richmond, Virginia, he has actively contributed to the creative arts community, leaving a lasting impact in RVA, Philly, and along the East Coast. Mikemetic's musical prowess extends to award-winning bands, and he continues to be a leading force in shaping RVA's curated music culture. Beyond his instrumental talents, his original compositions have graced prestigious venues such as the Modlin Center and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, as well as satellite events for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African-American History. Mikemetic is also recognized as a published author, with his 2017 book "Hood Haiku, Volume One: Sidewalk Science" lauded by Style Weekly for its expressive and authentic content, likening him to a blend of "Public Enemy and Zora Neale Hurston."
