This year for Black Maternal Health Week, we are celebrating the diversity of Black Maternal Health and highlighting the joys, the victories, the stories and testimonials, the ways disparities are being fought and overcome, and the trailblazers who are making positive changes in the Black Maternal Health world.

The annual Black Maternal Health Summit, hosted by Birth in Color (www.birthincolor.org) is on Friday, April 12, and is a space of excellence from the powerhouse keynote speakers to the workshops and networking.

Join us to learn, engage, listen, and grow as we discuss all things Black Maternal Health and Reproductive Justice!

Annually, Black Maternal Health Week is celebrated April 11-17, and this year, Birth in Color helped bring legislation to the VA General Assembly to pass a Black Maternal Health Week Declaration for all of Virginia in 2024 and succeeding years!
